Ukrainian devs are on record saying that they've transformed their game into an overt political statement. And the writing in this series was already pretty shit.
Huh, I was wondering why I despised them and Metro Exodus, I completely forgot, just remember hating them. Makes sense now, I completely forgot Dmitry Glukhovsky politicized his works too.

Tbh I wasn't overly thrilled with the last third (after the desert) of exodus. But I'll be hopeful for this. Now "open" world in the metro would be interesting.
