I know him best from "Children of Men" (which is quickly becoming a documentary). That was his "breakout" role.
Underrated film for what it was, I particularly love this scene as you see the old soldiers emotional while the young ones confused at seeing a baby, allowing them to pass safetly till one of the insurgents fires on them, making them fight back with more ferocity now they have something to protect again.
Still no 4K or Criterion release. It's almost as if they don't want people being reminded the movie exists.
