Every community has some level of groupthink that unfortunately is reinforced throug downvotes, but it does allow the community to police itself better. Without downvotes, mods are going to have to be more active.
He's right about the vote manipulation being obvious when certain users caught wind of a certain topic. It was crazy how an uncontroversial comment would become split or even negative when the shill brigade showed up. I don't agree that nuking downvotes completely was the right move. Being able to see who down voted a comment would have been better. Let everyone see the same half dozen accounts every time it happens.

That probably wouldn't be a bad thing. You guys are obviously an improvement over the previous asshole but I saw an obvious pajeet comment that stayed up for close to a week after I reported it. It only disappeared when the admins nuked the account globally.
