First I've heard of this and it's a great story. Cops are total pieces of shit. Afroman handled the situation perfectly.
Watch any of the cops getting grilled on the stand. It's hilarious.
To paraphrase:
"So, is Afroman claiming he had sex with your wife false?"
"Him saying that has caused me immense pain."
"Yes yes, we'll get to that later. Is Afroman saying he had sex with your wife false?"
"I dunno."
Extra detail: Watch Afroman's face as that line of questioning is going down. Dude was amazingly stone-faced while the cop was saying he might be getting cuckolded.
Afroman himself on the stand was also pretty damn good.
Cop clearly said that because he was trying to say what he was supposed to say to meet the legal test for defamation but fucked up because he doesn't seem that smart.
