You make a lot of good points, but this one makes no sense:
I was attempting to express that Iran controls all of it's sea ports so the US can't use them... and Iran is surrounded by nations like Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan who refuse to allow the US to use their nations to invade Iran.
Turkmenistan maintains a policy of neutrality, meaning they won't allow the US to use their sea ports for military deployment either.
This alone makes a US invasion of Iran almost impossible.
