Israel has a dedicated army unit for the sole purpose of censorship, so whatever information you're likely to get out of them is far from the truth.
Iran cannot knock the US out of the Gulf area on their own, but they can certainly cause a whole lot of economic damage.
Rifles win firefights, artillery wins battles, but economics win wars.
What are the win-options? Removing Iran's government from power will not be accomplished by an air campaign alone. The Kurds would be well-advised not to partake, there's just no way it would end well for them. Even if they were to prevail, Turkey would certainly mop up what's left of them afterwards.
In any case, the Kurds couldnt mobilize the numbers needed to prevail, one commonly cited estimate is half a million troops, based on the number committed to Iraq.
So, it's a matter of finding 500,000 goyim stupid enough to die doing Israel's bidding. Any volunteers?
