The Kurds would be well-advised not to partake, there's just no way it would end well for them. Even if they were to prevail, Turkey would certainly mop up what's left of them afterwards.
In any case, the Kurds couldnt mobilize the numbers needed to prevail, one commonly cited estimate is half a million troops, based on the number committed to Iraq.
