We are told there was a joint bombing campaign in Iran with Isreal/USA.
We are told Iran retaliatee by attacking neighboring countries, not mentioning they targeted the US bases in those countries.
We are told the supreme leader Ali Khamenei is dead.
We are told there are millions of Iranians dancing in the streets in Iran, Canada, and the USA in support.
We are told Iran ordered an operative to assassinate Trump so it was justified.
We are told this is a "one and done", "weekend only", "air strike only" mission. George Bush "Mission Accomplished" moment. Conveniently leaving out the attack the US conducted months ago that should have been the end of it.
It is so crazy. The US should have never become involved in this.
Its crazy the Trump administration campaigned on "no new wars" and America First, MAGA, etc. Only for the administration to become the spitting image of the Bush/McCain admin.
It is so crazy watching this site become a propaganda machine for the war. The vote manipulation, the pro-war shills coming out of the woodwork just like they did for the Ukraine war. The pro-war stickied posts.....
I dont even know what to say anymore.
EDIT: we were told no service members were injured or killed. It has been confirmed as of several hours ago 3 were killed 5 critically wounded.
The now current propaganda is "Trump issued a message to the Iranian people to 'rise up'", so this is a regime change goal just like we all knew.
I am disgusted
Ali Khamenei is dead unfortunately. The Iranian government has confirmed it.
He was an stupid old man who did not stay in a safe location, but he is now a martyr and their cardenals or whatever they have will choose another younger leader, perhaps now they will follow the steps of North Korea if they survive, because their enemies are fanatics of a death cult, total psychos and they need better deterrents.
There’s no way he knew he wasn’t going to get blown up by staying in his office.
He basically stepped aside and let the younger men take over, then died as a martyr which is considered an honor over there.
I think it was wise to not hide away, but he should have protected his family if he cared about them, should have allowed nuclear weapons, should have ordered preemptive strikes before the enemy prepared an all out attack without opposition, etc. Negotiating with terrorists who kill negotiators (3-4 times the last year) and allowing the first strike for optics and crying in the useless UN was stupid.
I mean I agree dude. I’m just trying to understand it from his perspective why he committed suicide essentially.
As always, the “good guys” act too nice and civil with their enemies. We see it here and saw it back in WW2 with Hitler who could’ve been way more effective if he tossed his morals.
