Look, I'm telling you if you have some patience and prove some goodwill, and the continuation gets unreasonable after distancing from it I will consider the actions you want. This beef with you two is older than I care to investigate all the way back for who's been more of a dick overall. I'm not grandfathering in complaints from before I even took on this role, that's an infinite can of worms that I'm just not opening. Since I have been looking it has been a case of mutual antagonism which even if not perfectly equal is certainly not one sided enough to warrant wading in and swinging my dick around. Not replying isn't supposed to guaranteed stop it (although it truly often can), it's there to prove enough good faith on your part that there's no suspicion of just trying to get the mods to punish a guy you've wilfully antagonized. There's always the block function if you can't resist the temptation, I can even promise to keep an active eye on them for further behind-your-back goading attempts if you let me know you are taking that route.

As to the libel, most jurisdictions have a requirement of proven harm, as your identity is neither known nor has anyone else even taken up in supporting his theories about it, I think this hasn't nearly reached that level yet. Not that I'm an actual judge, I suppose it is your right to try and sue him with a real judge if you're not happy with my interpretation though.
