Not to be a downer but when will you guys stop blaming actors for being hired? Would you not take the opportunity to be famous and make real money if it came up? It's like getting mad at a cashier at mcdonalds for being out of some food item.

Itd make sense to blame a cashier for smacking their lips or failing to say "have a nice day", or for how they messed up something in your order- these are things the cashier is actually responsible for...

...but he has no choice what food is in stock, what deals are being offered, what prices they have, what toys they carry, etc etc etc. You guys mass blame cashiers for executive and shareholder level activity, so to speak.

I know its not a good place to voice this- the guy is jewish, but still. Take the Wicked lady who played the witch- she has been a lightning rod for racial grevieance. Every complaint about her performance is a valid matter of opinion... But she didnt fuckin hire herself lmao. On a basic level, she is not the one responsible for what was done. Actors are WORKERS they are what is referred to by the phrase "human resources", they are not shot callers, they do not decide what role is being cast how. Darkies dont go out hunting ginger/redhead roles for instance. They are simply not in control of that. Call them dumb, call them smelly, but come on, for the love of God, have some awareness when you blame the state of hollywood and vidya and culture on the cashier
