I hope I'm wrong (and might very well be), but it feels like this shit is getting more and more inevitable.
If not today, likely within the month.
I didn't vote for this. I actually voted against this.

Not even close. He never had them. And I knew that myself when I was in Kuwait in the late 90's. Same time that he kicked the inspectors out. We never found any evidence he had WMD's. All that BS is from 'Curveball'. All manufactured. Kill millions of Americans? That's quite laughable.
The only thing he may have been 'guilty' of is contracting with a French aerospace firm to build a long range missile launch system. One that could easily hit Israel. Our 'greatest ally' simply found that unacceptable.
Read what you quoted again. I said "allegedly," not that I thought he had them. I'm just saying that the existential threat of the propaganda with WMDs was much more impressive and actionable than the idea that Iran might not do the whole 'human rights' thing in the same way we allegedly do.
That's it. I'm not saying there were WMDs. Hell, at the time, I was a liberal, literally out there on the streets waving signs, probably about no blood for oil or some shit.
