Giving power back to whites would certainly help, but you can’t get back to apartheid-level prosperity and safety without also implementing apartheid.
That's pretty much what the Haitians did. After they killed all the French and mulattos, they found out there is nothing in Haiti but sugar cane. Then of course they started killing each other.
