Captcha are getting harder because AI is solving them. Once AIs surpass humans on solving capchas can we just get rid of all capchas?
Maybe something will actually get better?
(Probably not. The pessimist in me just says the internet will just start requiring an ID to access anything.)
Sadly, it's a necessity in this day and age. We would never need 2FA on an internet where everyone who used it was honest. I hate it too, and I wish I'd made a bunch of throwaways for various big websites when I still had the chance to around 2010.
But recently, 2FA saved my ass. I keep around an instagram for redpilling and trolling. A week or two ago, I had a password reset request written in chink runes. My password was unique to that website and not something you could easily guess.
But you only get that message if someone correctly guesses your password and is automatically locked out. Which means there's been a data leak, because I'm always extremely careful with my internet usage.
These data leaks only happen because the internet was reverse gentrified to accept all manner of untermenschen who should not be entrusted with a such a high technology - think chinks, jeets, and of course, the ur-nigger.
We can't go back to the days of username/password like we can on here because there are too many dishonest niggers around.
