My exMIL, and her daughters were given asylum for FGM. All signs point to exMIL self deporting about 30 years later. I'm getting the info second hand via my nephew because of the whole ex thing. But, I can't think of any other reason not to pay your mortgage in the US because you have another house back in Africa.
