There's no benefit to a free society in enabling the worst traits of parents. It doesn't produce good future citizens, it doesn't improve society, it doesn't save money...

My post was about the fact that society has to bend over backwards to accommodate parents, who have pushed all responsibility for their reproduction onto the state and all burden onto the taxpayer.
Yeah, this is terrible. I think you worded your post pretty poorly to convey this though.
Society shouldn't treat parents or non-parents any differently, especially with regard to taxes and social programs.
Bachelor taxes are terrible and social programs that are funded by taxpayers that only benefit parents or children are also terrible (as are all social programs).
However, "pro-family" policies that prevent the government from parenting for parents and gives more freedom to parents outside of the government's prying eye or care are a good thing, regardless of how poorly the parents decide to parent.
Your initial post sounds like you're against parental rights because you want a centralized government that knows better than parents to parent for the parents (which is straight out of the communist playbook).
