Because they for decades linked any criticism of Israel to antisemitism, the younger generations have a worse opinion of the Jewish.

Not to mention Israel is rapidly losing support, the left hates them as they blow anyone they see as the underdog even if they'd throw them off roofs for their opinions. The right dislikes them for the evidence they are subverting their national interests with the best example is the ONE politician voting against releasing the Epstein files being a HEAVILY pro Israel Republican. And the establishment that supports them is slowly dying and/or losing power.

Which makes it funny that they blame Trump as he's too pro Israel for his bases' liking. By the end of his term, don't be surprised if Israel has less support with the right blaming them for slowing or sabotaging American restructing and rebuilding efforts.
