Look at Africa, it looks quite barren in places. But put in White people who had to for generations farm in a harsher environment and it becomes a breadbasket.
The adversity and challenges you face over generations leads to natural development and a lot of these cultures never faced the same level of challenges.
That's a theory a friend of mine has. Whites lived in colder climates so they faced evolutionary pressure to develop a higher IQ so they could survive the winter. Blacks and browns never evolved past rolling around in their own filth until whites made the mistake of trying to civilize them.
That and you and your clan have about a month or two of sitting on your asses playing your greatest hits and misses and how you can do better next time if you survive to next time.
