She still looks pretty brown next to taylor. Also whats up with the white patch on her boob? Reflection off the award? Tan lines from sunbathing in her bikini? Lets not forget taylor prolly spends a week out of every month in a tanning bed.

Black people come in all sorts of shades too and are darker depending on the time of year. I dont really care about beyonce, so I couldnt really give you a opinion of if she is, or isnt. But I think its funny how some of you are obsessed with celebrity's.

Was Michael Jackson vain? Of course he was, he was a super star whos looks were key to his brand. I dont blame the man for doing what he could to stop the progression of his disease.

Hell I suffer from Hidradenitis suppurativa and im just a pleb, a immune system thing where I get some wicked boils and have all these nasty nasty scars in my armpit area. Its one of the reasons I dont, and wont go to a gym. I get judged enough by everyone as it is. I dont need people treating me like a leper on top of it. I do that to myself enough.

When we diagnose VV, we treat patients depending on their stage. In early/stable stages we try to control the spread, and even help re-pigment in some instances. But in some cases, the disease advances in a way where you have to tell the patient there's not much we can do in terms of stopping the disease, but we can help them get to a point where they can have a uniform color

This is called depigmentation. We use special treatments to down-regulate pigmentation activity in healthy skin to even out skin tone, eventually making skin color uniform and the contrast less sharp. So yes, technically it is "bleaching" you could say, but it's absolutely something we do considering the psychosocial burden of VV and it's effect on quality of life and mental health.

Second of all, irritation is something one must consider. I had countless patients discontinuing MBEH because of how irritating and painful it can be. It’s not as simple as just applying it all over your face and body for months, sometimes years at a time.

During depigmentation treatment, we can sometimes roughly distinguish where vitiligo-affected skin is, and where the MBEH-treated skin is. Depigmentation of healthy skin happens in a "confetti-like pattern" Let me show you an example, and compare with Michael.

Some photos in there where you can clearly see his skin has depigmented.

If I were in his shoes, I would have likely done the same thing.
