You can't expect anyone on the street to follow your combat sports particular competition rules, especially if they directly contradict your opponents sports particular rules.
An American wrestler (no grabbing of clothes) vs a sumo or judo wrestler (almost exclusively grabbing clothes) are not decent match ups because whatever rule set is forced will intrinsically handicap one or the other fighter.
A street fight, even if on friendly terms, has to be done like any real street fight - no rules.
If you don't want to follow the competition's rules, don't join it. That ain't a street fight any more than pickup basketball is. Sure some dumbass might turn it into a fight, but that's not the game being offered and they can rightly fuck off at that point, none of that "should have expected it" ghetto bullshit
They're both good, actually. Black guy had legitimate points, but as Hullo said, the ruleset in this case would absolutely determine the winner. That being said, the White guy was able to relatively manhandle someone with a foot and probably like 50 pounds on him, so that's damn nice work.
You guys ever heard of Demetrius Johnson? He'll show you size isn't everything in a fight
