Yeah, the format worked better in Trump's first term, when he was the total underdog, and the defense was appreciated. Keeping the schtick going after Trump had already lost some momentum over J6 and Covid, and now his current failures and betrayals in his second term...it just doesn't fly.
Trump is not and was never infallible. The worship is cringe. I'll support Trump when he does good stuff, and criticize when he does bad stuff. I will not Trust the Plan.

I just hope this is how he actually feels; if he's being honest, I can at least respect it, even if I disagree. Considering he went corporate, though, there is at the very least soft pressure. He's been either implicitly or explicitly given his marching orders. He can't break from Daddy Trump, even if his audience does. He's a ride or die Plan Truster, and can't be anything else.

the statue is far more of an issue, unless it was just someone being iconoclastic. Wrong, but not as bad as other reasons.
I'm disappointed. He has truly become the essence of a "plan truster". Hope he sees the light (which I do think he knows just refuses to turn).
