Dogs do a lot for humanity, they deserve more recognition. I just watched a vid compilation of dogs protecting their master’s children from being harmed by various things, like one dog saw a book shelf falling over on a toddler and jumped in the way so he’d take the brunt of the hit instead of the toddler. I’ve seen dogs alert humans to a house fire more than once. I’ve seen dogs jump in front of wild animals that were about to harm a human, like a deer that ran at the dog’s master and he cut the damn thing off just before it ran into his owner. That kind of stuff happens somewhat frequently, they’re amazing creatures, one of the only creatures out there who is capable “unconditional love”, where they would gladly sacrifice their own life for their human friends, and will still love their owner even if he is a cruel POS to the dog.
