Land acknowledgments are so fucking stupid, for so many reasons. But it's also just fucking insulting. "We would like to thank the diverse Indigenous Peoples," really? The people who, in your eyes....LAND YOU FUCKING STOLE?

Aren't you just rubbing it in? Aren't you actually just bragging about "colonizing" at this point?

To me, it's an admission of hostile possession and should be criminally investigated. I wonder if the natives will use land acknowledgments to sue.
