What's with this site's hateboner against SSRIs? They're handed out like candy as a treatment for shit life syndrome, no shit most mass killers are on them, nobody who has been treated well by life is willing to do something that can only lead in death or life in prison.
SSRIs fuck with your brain, and if you're already not well, you can't control your impulses. Listen to some stories. Rationality goes out the window. It turns you into a zombie, and if you react poorly, your dosage is incorrect, or you stop taking them (withdrawal is a huge problem), you'll want to do weird things like jump out the window instead of taking the stairs, because it's faster.
SSRIs turn you from a human into a machine. If you're already unwell, that can have drastic consequences, for you and those around you.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's not SSRIs, but clearly something changed. We used to have more access to guns, and less school shootings, for example.
