Can you seriously not see the difference between an offensive war halfway across the world where one is trying to occupy territory for a long period of time and a defensive war against a bordering country. Not to mention the fact that obviously much restraint was used.
I can't imagine they think that a war with the states would be anything but an unrivaled beatdown....
Edit: It's actually a fight over whether they should request US military aid in fighting the Cartels.
