This was apparently a misinterpretation and not happening.
It’s a BBC article pandering to Africans, so it could be embellished. The mass importation of Nigerians is happening, they also just announced they might take in 50k jeets for “purposes like employment”.

Anyway you look at it, Japan was nice while it lasted.
