At this point we have to accept that once elected, some men in black types visit everyone to lay down the law and explain the consequences of rocking the boat, at least hard enough to cause the passengers to get their feet wet.
Which creates the perverse incentive that, the only way you're allowed to change things, is capsizing the whole motherfucker.
It really is a nasty trap. They won't let us have a peaceful solution, even though peace is obviously preferable. They're greedy, evil bastards, who won't even allow a real pressure release.
All they had to do was let Trump be a good president, and not force him to blatantly serve anti-American interests. People would have largely gone back to sleep.
The puppet masters can't get out of their own way.
