You argue that policy failed. Now Assad is deposed at the behest of Israel, and you think that policy will also fail.
You could be right on both counts and the fact remains that this immense upheaval and death in the Middle East was done at the behest of Israel and their neocon (largely Jewish) partners in the US. The fact that they never seem to learn their lessons is irrelevant to the reality of the matter.
