This is the first paragraph of an article (with no author):
President Trump signed an executive order in February establishing refugee status for Afrikaners, the white ethnic minority in South Africa that created and led the brutal system of apartheid.
Has there ever been an ethnic group, let alone an ethnic minority, described in this way?
Georgians, the ethnic group that created and led the mass murdering Stalinist regime.
Now, what happened? Without notifying its readers, and without even mentioning that the article was updated, the New York Times removed two references to Apartheid as being 'brutal':
From:
President Trump signed an executive order in February establishing refugee status for Afrikaners, the white ethnic minority in South Africa that created and led the brutal system of apartheid.
To:
President Trump signed an executive order in February establishing refugee status for Afrikaners, the white ethnic minority in South Africa that created and led the system of racial segregation known as apartheid.
A second reference to Apartheid as being 'brutal' was also removed.
The Afrikaners who arrived in the United States on Monday are the descendants of the European colonizers who came to South Africa approximately four centuries ago. They later created the brutal system of apartheid in 1948.
BTW, I didn't know that the Boers have been there for 4 centuries. What an absolute atrocity that they are being targeted and murdered in a country they created.
The Afrikaners who arrived in the United States on Monday are the descendants of the European colonizers who came to South Africa approximately four centuries ago. They later created the system of apartheid in 1948.
Even leaving aside calling Apartheid 'brutal', which is dubious at best, they pin the responsibility for the creation of a system on an entire ethnic group, which they never do otherwise.
Commies always push racial conflict so they can use it to concentrate power and keep the masses fighting eachother instead of them.
