Newsweek talks about it, and is at least somewhat skeptical, to their credit.
One minor issue...it seems to be fake. It's all the same video, with the same angles. The dancing Trump was probably real, as mentioned. Everything else was editing after the fact, to create a viral video of a purported real world event.
It's a really interesting scenario, and a learning opportunity for many.
Your link to the Mayor's video? It has this image in it at 0:52. Was the Mayor's video fake too? I cannot tell if you're using that link to say it IS REAL or that it IS NOT REAL.
If the mayor's video is real, then this image is real too.
But, yes, I believe the mayor's video is fake. You may be thinking that that sounds crazy. But here's what I think happened: Someone pushed this out, it got a bit of traction, and the mayor tweeted out the video himself, not realizing it was fake.
My main issue is just that I haven't seen any other footage of the show, from anyone who was there, and we've only seen this cinematic production, with fancy angles, crowd shots, and footage of people filming it...which seems and odd thing to focus on anyway.
I think the whole thing was a troll, a psyop, a social experiment, or some mix of the bunch.
Ok thanks! I thought the Mayor was the OP here, not re-posting something someone else had posted.
That there's no other video means it for sure is fake. It was an event at some sort of celebration, yes? There should be 1000 videos out there. At a minimum the local stations would send a camera team for a report.
Yeah, looks to me like he just posted video that was going around.

It was apparently a "surprise," so I wouldn't be surprised if the news didn't have original footage, but someone should have been able to source multiple different captures of this supposed event, yeah.
Very crazy story.
There was an alleged light show last week, in Miami. The mayor himself celebrated it.
It does seem like there was a dancing Trump lightshow but, as far as I can tell, everything else is fake; AI.
Here's what it probably really looked like.
News ate it up, Twitter ate it up, Con Inc influencers ate it up. Here's an article. Shows tweets by Benny Johnson, and Riley Gaines.
Sky News Australia talked about it.
"Real America's Voice" talked about it

Indeed but in this case i think china (pardon the poor source)did it first, still good data to see the tatic be used in the west.
The images didn't look too complicated, though.

I think I was pretty clear.

The easiest way to fight antisemitism is by deporting all jews out of America to madagascar, NOW!
Stop the foreign subversion of the United States! Remember the USS Liberty!
Can't have antisemitism if there's no more semitism. tap tap
