The really fucked up part is, that Fed had his house raided by armed agents, who destroyed his house and scared his wife, threw him in jail, and he had to spend his entire savings to fight the case against him. All he had was possession of those oil filters, he never fucked with them at all, they were still in the packaging they came to his house in. I really don’t understand how they can arrest and jail an American for just possessing oil filters, makes no sense but they did it somehow.
Buying a series of items that can be used to build a weapon trips a red flag with law enforcement, I know it works that way in the U.S., so I’m sure it works that way in the UK. Some items you don’t even want to fuck with at all, like ordering/buying the oil filters that can be turned into suppressors, buying those alone will cause ATF to show up at your house if you live in the U.S… I just read an article about a former Fed, I believe he was an Air Marshal who ordered a bunch of stuff off of Temu, and he ordered some of those filters too, dude, it destroyed his life and he was a Fed who you’d think they’d give leeway to. No leeway at all.
