I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but I have to ask. Why do you still have lefty friends?
You know they'd drop you like a stone the second they smelled anything right wing from you. Even if you don't feel it's anything remotely right wing. You're talking with and potentially hanging around with people who feel like if you sneeze and lean right one too many times to do it would be enough to cut you out of their lives.
I could only walk on eggshells for so long around them before I was cast out like a leper. It'll happen to you too sooner or later.

No, I cut off connections with that one. Honestly, most of the hardcore ones have been making themselves miserable by trying to prove their purity more and more. Displays against Trump are not the worst of it.
Years ago I left a certain online social media group that a few friends were in when it was starting to get very toxic; I'm sure the leftist mods would have eventually banned me anyway.
I heard that a couple months after I left, there was an outbreak of tantrums and moderator activism; and the group broke up into five smaller groups. Then they coalesced two groups. The people responsible for it all now reign as supreme gatekeepers in their groups, and nobody questions the hiveminds.
