The certain groups I believe not need to be named have successfully for many decades worked on blurring out what nationality means and instead tying it to just birthplace/legality. No, a 3rd generation sub saharan immigrant is never going to be of any European nationality, not in a million generations, the same way I could have 10 nigerian passports but I can never be nigerian.
