They often complain about children recognizing them for what they are when adults are 'polite'.
"MOM WHY IS THAT MAN WEARING A DRESS?"
Don't get me wrong, I get that some of these people have a mental illness, and that there are intersex conditions (times when the genes aren't expressed properly, and a few other things).
but even in the gender disphoria community, they've had the term "transtrender" for quite a while, so it's not like they aren't aware of the Johnny-come-latelys trying to get attention...
The Emperor Has No Y Chromsome
Once upon a time, there was a greedy emperor.
He was the selfish sort, almost always up to some scatterbrained scheme to force people to pay more taxes.
As he grew older, he wanted to get married.
But no woman would look at him, for the memories of his past cruelty still lingered.
Desperate, he tried peeping on bathing women, but they chased him out.
Frustrated, he decided that he would become a woman.
How?
He put on a new dress, a wig and some lipstick.
By royal decree, he was to be called Empress, and referred to as female.
He thought that would work.
Disobedience meant punishment. Some things never changed with him, I suppose.
On the day after this royal decree was relayed to the towns by his messengers, he led a massive march of his knights, to declare his new gender to his subjects.
As he pompously stepped up to the stage, a child in the crowd pointed at him and asked "MOM WHY IS THAT MAN WEARING A DRESS?"
The spell of fear was broken. A surge of laughter rumble through the gathered crowd, with even some of the emperor's knights smiling.
The emperor fled back to his castle, decreeing that every man, woman and child in that town to be put to death.
No one listened. Even his own knights began to abandon him.
His castle became a gilded cage, with not a single trade caravan arriving as the year turned. They all knew what he had ordered in his rage.
Wherever he went, he was met with derision.
And then he 41'd himself and everyone lived happily ever after.
And lo, when at the last, Zir's final barrel of Cope was spent, there scraping at its bottom, Zir's jaundiced nails found purchase only on a Rope.
eh, i'd prefer something that follows the beats of the original a little more closely, but to each their own i suppose...
My idea would be to keep the beats of the original, but instead have the 'tailors' be a psychiatrist and possibly a surgeon, promising the emperor a whole new gender, never before seen in the world, something marvelous and unique. you get the idea.
Understandable, I was just having fun.
fair enough, lol.
Is Emperor gendered language? A female Emperor is an Empress, emperor denotes gender, correct. So I suggest we change the title to the Emperux
Nah, that only appeals to those deeply entrenched in this stuff, (and even then only some of them). we can't get through to those people. this is for the normies,, who have some hope of getting it, lol.
Brilliant
Wouldn't "The Great Leader's new gender" be a more fitting title? Because emperor is a gendered word and all that.
nice
