They just don't wanna admit that the stuff makes them sick (due to being lactose-intolerant).
Meanwhile, the resident Giants consume cheese and presumably milk from mammoths. And they routinely launch people into space! Really makes you think.
Plenty of cheese to be found in Skyrim. Drinking milk means you're a baby, but eating curdled milk is alright I guess?
Well, yeah: Drinking grape juice means you're a kid. Drinking curdled mouldy grape juice means you're a "wine expert". Same with milk.
