Too many and too frequent cases like this as of late. Worse, these agencies KNOW they did wrong and don't offer any compensation, even with an NDA, to the families they terrorize. They don't even try to make right their wrongs because they don't feel any obligation to the American People.
Oh look it's today's episode of "no matter how much you hate the government, it's not enough".
This isn't the first time that the feds have argued that once they have a warrant they're free to do whatever they want. You may recall a case a couple years ago where they seized everyone's safe deposit box in a certain facility because they thought a couple of them might have been used for illegal activity. The warrant specifically instructed them that they may not do that and they did it anyway, and their attorneys made essentially the same argument that the government is making in this case.
You know when it stops? "When our pain becomes their pain."
When one of these agencies gets a warrant to raid one location and they instead raid the home of the judge who gave them the warrant. "Can't do nothing 'bout it, judge. We're immune, remember? Your wife looks real good in that nightgown, BTW. I made sure to search her myself. Oh, and sorry about your dog. I hope you weren't too attached to it."
The day that happens is the day they start holding these fucking tyrants accountable.

We don't live in the America we think we do.
