Has it been established by SCOTUS that a crooked President can confer blanket pardons and immunity for precrime not yet charged or investigated?

Ford pardoned Nixon before he was charged with anything, then Carter took that precedent a step further and preemptively blanket pardoned all the Vietnam draft dodgers. Courts didn't care.
