Don't disagree with anything specific to Pakman, but losing 10k subs overnight is still a weird blip.
Nick Rekieta has been full lolcow for 2 years & all but abandoned trialstreaming and his YTube channel, in addition to getting arrested for cocaine possession and child neglect while being a literal cuck. His 400k+ channel is only losing about 1k subs a month.
Matt Christiansen and Blonde had a messy podcast breakup in October with Matt arguably winning the PR war. Matt stans are trolling Blonde on her YT videos, guest appearances and Twitter. But neither have lost 1k subs since the fallout. Both their channels are around 2-300k.
Now, given Pakman's channel is 5-10x their size, but losing 10k subs suddenly is still a big deal.
I suppose as well that YT and socialblade metrics become less granular for bigger channels, as they only report 10k increments publicly once a channel surpasses one million.
I suppose there's also the question whether socialblade measures actual 1k or 10k news subs or unsubs v. only tracks an entire increment whenever the odometer rolls ahead or back.
And, damn, is he throttled hard. Social Blade isn't the most scientific, but it sets his FIVE YEAR prediction at current rates as still under 300k. He'll gain 20k subs...while more than doubling his viewership. Again, SB isn't the best, but that's kind of odd.
For Pakman, I suppose some weirdness is possible, but he's also pretty damn large, so any sort of swing - and leftists are certainly fickle - would show up.

10k is just the base Social Blade increment at that level, it looks like, and I think it is rollover, and x,x10,000 -1 may be recorded as a 10k loss.
Because I don't think Matt is losing 1k every other week, and that's what SB says: https://socialblade.com/youtube/c/skagg3

He's lucky. Biden lost 20 million followers in 4 years.
