And as has been proven by thousands of thrown out pre-nups, women can claim "duress" and render any signature null and void, because by simply asking them to sign it you forced them to do so against their will.
They now recommend a pre-nup, post-nup, and reaffirmation after a few years have passed. Oh, and if the woman doesn't provide her own attorney, they say the man has to pay for independent counsel for her. And courts still frequently invalidate the fucking things after all that.
You can sign an unbreakable contract with the military at age 17 without any oversight or attorney representing you, but even if you move heaven and earth to keep a prenup valid they'll still throw it out. Absolutely insane bullshit.
But, tell me again about "the patriarchy" and how rough women have it.
Everything makes sense when you realize women are just spoiled teenagers. They probably can make most decisions and do things for themselves, but still are given power way beyond their mind's ability to handle and absolutely need someone behind them to cry to when their shortsightedness backfires.
As minors cannot really sign contracts, they are never valid and any attempt to do so just makes you look worse than them in the eyes of many (which is why protesting the judge throwing it out ends up counterproductive). Its why women cannot have agency or be expected to act like an adult ever, because she isn't one.
Men however are capable of being independent and are expected to do so, so fucking underaged men can go die if they want lol.
In the eyes of "fairness" or "equality" its obviously infuriating. But that's also never going to change, so the sooner men start acting within that framework the sooner they can start protecting themselves proper.
DING DING DING Johnny, tell him what he's won!
Is it divorce papers and a lifetime of alimony?
So now we'll need a video of the conversation leading to the signing
Which can just then be considered further duress because you are recording them and likely pressured them before the video was on.
Its a never ending cycle of dodging to not have to admit women have no agency and men must always give to them.
I'd just do it in a public place that has incidental CCTV - make sure you're smiling and being nice the whole way through etc. But at the end of the day the legal system is capricious, so it all depends on what kind of judge you get on your case.
