I remember when I was younger and I thought de-stigmatizing pedophilia just enough to get people to get help before they act, it would be the correct action. As it saves one person from a dark path and numerous children from being hurt by them.
Then I realized that the camp of "destigmatize it entirely" was making headway way faster and doing so with intents very much not in the interest of protecting any children, and I abandoned any notion of it.
In an absolutely perfect world I still think we should try to catch them before they offend, and the prison system is built off the idea that even irredeemable scum need to be treated better to keep them behaving for the good of everyone else, and that thought crimes are not real crimes to be destroyed over.
But we don't live in a perfect world, and until we do all pedos deserve the rope unless they are man enough to get the help on their own even through the risks, and even then they should be watched.
The problem with the prison system is that the rehabilitation concept was only effective with White Europeans and even only partially so. We see them cutting off hands in Africa and think it is brutal, and it is, but they know it is what works.
Some people just can't be rehabilitated and need to be locked up forever or killed. Problem is certain democrat policies and activist judges/parole boards/psychologists who let criminals out with no consequence. When retarded democrat voters hear bail reform, etc. they think it just means less punishment for one time drug use but what they get is career criminals being let out for repeated low level offenses until they get trained/emboldened to do violent crime.
The single most effective way to deter crime is to warehouse criminal offenders. Because it’s a small part of the population that commits crimes and these people tend to be repeat offenders. So you stick them in a concrete and steel box.
Yea. School choice/better punishments for minors also needed. Hypothetically, in addition, a parade where repeat criminals are waterboarded and/or crowd allowed to pelt them with snowballs and water balloons would be another deterrent/teaching moment for the hood rat enablers/accomplices with no fathers.
In particular, people who never had a chance of integrating to begin with aren't going to be cured by prison.
Why can't we just deport people to guarded islands?
Just sentence them to taking care of them fucking selves amongst other people like themselves.
In theory, that sounds good, along with homeless shanty towns. In reality, would not trust our government to secure it or normies to support it. Barely capable to secure our border and prisons as it is. Plus, they'd shoot down one makeshift raft trying to escape and al sharpton will be hollering that the prisoners were fishing.
And the people who'd be defining "who deserves this" is the same people that consider walking around the capitol on J6 a full insurrection and voting Right wing a dangerous hate crime.
Its not that you guys are wrong in your statements about needing brutal judgements, its that the government (who would be in charge of all this) would put you in solitary for 20 years until your mind snapped before it even approached half the nigger criminals who need it.
The prison system in America is college for criminals.
I wasn't talking the rehabilitation system.
I meant the fact that even the most horrific felon can still earn privileges in prison by good behavior. Because even if they don't deserve it in the slightest, rewarding them to behave benefits everyone else.
Much like that old Chinese story, if the penalty for being late and rebellion is both death then you've just incentivized rebellion to the net negative of everyone else.
