It isn't a "Silent Majority" situation either. Tens of thousands vocalize their disapproval of this direction on a game whose population is massively inflated by bots and alts and farms. One of the beneficiaries of Youtube hiding disapproval of current year topics was all of the Jagex roundtables that voiced DEI or included Furry JMods that were vote bombed. All forum discussion has round the clock employed moderators policing the official Steam Forums and the Reddit plus devoted agitators on the chans, and even then they are reduced to tracking players wearing robes in Fally with their prayers up. The vision that sold players on OSRS has been betrayed inbetween the kinds of updates our childhoods were spent dreaming about,
I didn't want to imply this was the peak of DEIship, but that the frog's water is fully boiling now. It used to be "you won't see it unless you go to one NPC", then it was "You won't see it unless you do the few quests written by pronoun police pushing singular they pronouns", then it was "Just don't play during the deadly sin parade", soon there were full regions touched with rainbow arches and muslim inclusive npc names. With this update for the first time every new character is asked a question only a LGBT cultist would ask you, and Jagex openly joins the list of 'English' companies that want 13 and up to be confused about sex. There is no agenda subtlety about asking players of a game that once was hosted on Miniclip dot com "Are you a Body A who goes by she/sher, she/they, or they/thum?"
I play a lot of OSRS. This is the type of update that would cause a shitstorm in the comments on the sub reddit. Can't seem to find it posted anywhere despite the fact that updates are always posted there. Really activates the almonds.
Of course these kinds of changes are never the ones they poll. Absolutely disgusting.

First terraria. Now runescape. Hmmmm.
"Gaming has always been gay, see here's Dead Rising and Mortal Kombat and Runescape and Assassins Creed and Battlefield being pozzed"
I'm glad they keep pushing. We need normies fed up, not just the LGBT-allergic (us).
This might be the furthest back that the queers have reached in time to deface a video game.

They should update the name as well, something catchy amd better fitting... "Current Year Troonscape" or is that too on the nose?
