I honestly can't even tell anymore. What's to get excited about? Has he even said anything besides being for Israel and some token shit about immigration? I can't get much info from his nuthuggers, either, who can only act like SJWs about woke shit and trannies in women's sports. The entire Trump movement just seems totally neutered from what it was in 2016

I don't need to be excited. It takes a whole 15 minutes of my time to vote for him.
In the end, do I think Trump is going to go in and go scorched earth like he should? No. I think it will be mostly like the first. He is barely different now from what I can tell he was in 2019 despite all the shit since then.
I do believe he's pro domestic energy production and anti foreign wars, both of which things the current rulers fucked up the second they got in. Also both things I really like. Outside of that, I mean what am I supposed to do, vote for Harris?
That's the question none of these people want to answer. They'll scream about how awful and weak Trump is on this and that, and then blubber when you ask what better option is there.
Harris will make things infinitely worse than he ever could. RFK is a meme that has no chance. So they would be willing to sell us all to a much worse hell for....the sake of argument?
That's just it. We've come full circle back to "lesser of two evils" voting. That wasn't supposed to happen with Trump. He was supposed to actually be good.
Can't lie friend. That sounds like you guys overhyped yourself back in 2016 and lost sight of the truth of what he was. He was always the lesser of two evils because he was still a literal Leftist from the 90s who just got thrown Right with the shifting of the Overton Window.
Our voting system is literally "Winner takes all" with a two party domination. It will always be lesser of two evils every single time until Jesus himself comes back to run.
The best thing you could ever hope with Trump, which he has succeeded at massively, is that he inspires people to not be afraid to be openly Right Wing anymore (which had been the case for the last two decades prior) and hope that more legitimately Right Wing politicians start rising up by showing they can win and people want them.
2016 sure, but I've been like this with him for a while. Some people here are still talking about him like he's going to do all kinds of great things, and there is no way anyone could be anything less than ecstatic to vote for him again.
I think he is legitimately going to struggle to win this election. His support base has slowly dwindled in numbers and enthusiasm as the reality of what he actually is has set in. I still want him to win for sure because he is indeed the lesser evil, and I think a Trump victory demystifies politics more than a defeat.
