They're very effectual, they just hate us.
Yes to both.
Assets are meaningless, if the goals of the people in charge aren't to utilize them.
And if it comes to that we're probably still fucked anyway, even if we "won."
So is the West nowadays, and has additional problems too. Exactly because a lot of people are waking up, the West is more likely to implode, and have its own people turn on the scum at the top who have betrayed us. Despite the USA's more experienced and funded military, I wouldn't be surprised if the USA fell apart to infighting before the Chinese did, if it ever came to actual conflict.
A while ago I would have agreed...and still do, but with some caveats. Firstly, all modern economies are lies. All major countries use fiat currency, which is inherently manipulated. USA is the petrodollar...which has an will continue to accrue losses as more and more people bail out.
Trade is the real currency, and you can see from that map that China is actually overtaking the USA. So, yes, China's currency is fake and gay...but so is ours...and now we're losing our backing on much of that. For all I know, China now has a more stable currency (again, even though it's totally fake) than the USA.
Yeah, military is about the only thing the USA has going for it, but even that has been slipping massively. We may even still have Chinese drones and other tech in our fleets, too. Our training is some of the best in the world (because we keep fighting everyone), but I think much of our equipment is nowhere near as competent as we've been led to believe.
TL;DR: Yeah, China is fake and gay. But so are we, and I don't think the gap is as big as a lot of people assume.
I not saying we should just ignore China like Cuba that their rants mean nothing but I am saying them being 'the next world hegemony' ain't going to happen.
There's too many internal issues with China to allow that to happen. In the US a lot of these issues have been artificially created to decrease their influence and power.
I heard rumours recently that Winnie might've suffered a stroke and given the corruption and centralisation of power in China, if he was to suffer a medical issue that incapacitates him, it would be a house of cards situation.
Yeah. Russia will probably lead that alliance.
Possibly but they need to do A LOT of house keeping first. I actually predict we'll have a stalemate for decades where NO COUNTRY or organisation holds hegemony if America falls enough that they lose it.
Russia and China will always have problems. It's an alliance of convenience, not really anything else.
Plus the really fancy equipment is vulnerable to sabotage if you have enemies anywhere in your supply chain
