Seems every year you see this. I live in Texas, summers are hot and anyone who has a heat related death gets tied to climate change. They do this in the winter too. Here in north Texas winters shift between cold and warm until spring but whenever it gets warm in January they act like we are going to die.

I have a psychological theory for this. We all know Californians have been moving to the rest of the country. For those who don't know, much of the California coast is pretty much paradise on earth as far as climate is concerned. These people move to the South (or even the midwest) and experience highs in the mid-90s or low 100s combined with 90% humidity, and they think the planet is on fire. We call it summer and its always been this way. They buy the propaganda because they think every day should have lows in the 60s, highs in the 70s, and low humidity with a constant pacific breeze.
