I think he's just conflicted, he knows a lot of what's going on is bad for his culture and country, but being an incel he probably also doesn't feel that strongly about it because ultimately he has no stakes beyond staying alive in the next 40 or so years, being a conformist japanese he doesn't want to stir up international controversies on YouTube and get attacked for it.
