Oh no, you actually have to interact with people on a dating site than just string guys along because you love the attention it gives you, the horror....
This is why years ago I told one of my female friends that dating apps are HORRIBLE for men because this mentality is extremely prevalent in the women on there. They don't seek a meaningful relationship, they want validation and will only seek a relationship with when that validation slowly starts to run dry.
I don't think the apps create the addiction. They just exacerbate a disorder that's already there. Yes, it's bad for them, but some women will always be looking for that kind of attention using whatever tools they have at their disposal.

Good looking guys: pumped and dumped but most are ok with that
Average looking guys: maybe a date if you’re charming enough, otherwise used for validation
Ugly looking guys: met with spiteful vindictive hate and/or used for money/attention
I’ve been all 3 in my lifetime and they all are equally shitty in their own ways
She's a cock carousel rider. Simp validation is only to hold her over between rounds of musical dicks.
Keyboard warrior won't do shit
And they're horrible for women as well, as they create the kind of addiction exemplified here.

Yep, this is a behavior that exists in middle school for goodness sakes, it's certainly exacerbated by the internet but it wasn't created by it.
"enable" would be more accurate
