Video I recorded in 2021 showing how comments used to be more organic and less suppressed even that short time ago. Might be an interesting refresher. (cdn.videy.co)

A bit off topic but, speaking of comments, I think there's a bot/shill farm behind probably RFK, but much more clearly his VP pick, Nicole Shanahan.

There's something really off there. She keeps doing appearances (I wonder if she's paying either her way on, or paying for softballs, too), and they're really boring and she just comes off as half-assed, but pretty much all the comments are some variation on 'she's so sharp and insightful,' and 'I've got her back,' and stuff like that.

Anyone else noticed that?

Dave Smith's interview is a good example. I generally like the dude, but this was really weird. He's been going hard on RFK for his Israel/war stance (he used to like him, but when he had him on last just spent a quite combative hour arguing about Israel), has Nicole on, and never even asks about 'the most important issue,' and actually agrees that health is now the most important issue. It was bizarre and out of character, some comments were calling it out, but there were a bunch more low engagement 'she's so great' comments.

Nicole Shanahan is up to something shady in the digital sphere, I'm convinced.

'I've got her back,'

That sounds awfully like Hillary Clinton’s “I’m with her.” Notice how the messaging is about how the politician is awesome we were are so lucky to slave away at helping them.

I've never heard her name before, but I don't follow news for my own mental health and blood pressure.

Most of the news I do learn is from like 2 week old memes anymore haha.

I have seen that type of thing you're talking about though.

Comments that are so generic like that and essentially say the same 3 things over and over, barely rephrased.

It's funny how they were all about Russian bots for years but could never point to any examples. But now the bot-like talking is extremely obvious, only it's for the left. They always project and tell you what they're going to do.

We are going to more or less lose global communication as AI proliferates. Hell even local stuff will be highly suspicious if fake video can eventually be easily created with an AI. Newspapers would be just as untrustworthy.

Somehow we will have to function as a society wherein all forms of long distance communication with strangers becomes most likely fake.

I don't honestly know how we avoid slavery at that point? Remain armed at all times I suppose....

Say "nigga/nigger/hitler" to prove you're not a bot or else gtfo.

You know, this might be something that blockchain tech is actually useful for. Botting on a blockchain would be prohibitively expensive.

Then again simply requiring a subscription to post would also make botting prohibitively expensive.

Hypothetically that can also be an advantage, create AI videos with right wing death squads to get ahead of the news cycle and then debunk them,. Later on the right wing death squads are actually deployed and no one will believe the news that it is occurring.

It can be used for so much evil it is unbelievable.
