Are there groups still supplying fansubs? All I see now are "encoders" who just repackage rips from crunchyroll to make the file size less bloated. I can't remember the last time I saw an translator's note or a translation of a signpost, much less a plug for the fansub group.
Most I find on Nyaa but all fansubs have a website, there's some aggregate ones also but I don't know too many( think shanaproject.com is one but I've only ever used it for checking out 9volt, a fansub group that does Frieren).
Nyaa seems to be nothing but encoders these days, which is why I asked for specific recommendations. Getting free anime is easy, but getting free anime that isn't just a rip of crunchyroll seems to be a specialized commodity now.

Tons. Fansubs are alive and well. Cannot compete day 1 but subs are just outright better.
Don't leave me hanging, give me some names and where to find them.

Nyaa's probably your best bet.

They seem to show up mostly when the official localizers get too blatant, like making Nagatoro say "sus".
