Have a contact who actually LIVES in Mannheim, had to check but fortunately they're fine, was home all day (being a gamer saves lives). They were telling me how they don't visit that part of the city because 'weirdos' frequent that area a lot but there are 'worse' areas..

This is what happens all the time. Same with Kyle Rittenhouse. I had seen most of the videos by the next day. There's was never any legitimate case against him. Yet the media ignore the evidence and tell the story they want to tell.
Just imagine how bad it was before the internet. There is a gun youtuber Paul Harrell (who is dying of cancer) who says how he never trusted media because his dad was a Portland cop, and every week while watching the local news, his dad would say "that's not what happened, I was there."
