Just noticed that SBI detected actually *recommended* a game for once

I don't exactly agree with this path.
The thing that made it so useful and successful was the very minimal commentary and neutral stance it took prior. It simply pointed out that SBI, or other consultation, was detected and let you fill in the blanks from there. It was clearly negatively associating it, but you could then still judge the game with the increased knowledge and decide it was still positive.
Now its going the path of full on anti-Woke culture crusader. Which turns it from a unique and normie approachable model to another dime a dozen page that is just as easily dismissed.
Exactly this.
Kinda what I hate honestly. Woke lefties contradict themselves all the time, no need to push it even further and start soaking up retarded anti-woke manufactured opposition and make the rest of us look dumb
True, I'm not a big fan of injecting politics into entertainment, even if it is supporting "our side". But if the game is good I might try it out.
Offline singleplayer is definitely a big one for me. I should be able to game without internet.
Yeah. And unfortunately, it's one I'm probably not going to take the recommendation on. As I've said numerous times, it's not just their political and reactionary stances as narratives I'm so tired of seeing, it's political and reactionary stances as narratives period.
Political dramas can be great when they don't sound like endorsement for real politics or bashing real people. Political lectures need to burn in hell.
It doesn't help that most "anti-Woke" products are usually the same handful of jokes and lines we have seen a dozen times already.
If a game were truly anti-woke they wouldn’t be able to sell it in the first place.
You aren't wrong on that either.
Disagree this game specifically is truly anti-woke not some Kosher LARP
Nah. Bottom of the steam page the dev goes on a paragraph long apology for using AI generated art as a precursor image for a couple of level backgrounds.
Pass.
It's not an "apology" it's required by Steam to say when you're using AI.
You should read it. It's definitely an apology.
Another pixel art roguelite...
And it's a Neon Abyss clone.
Meh
The game's based, so I'm glad to see it get a recommendation. Heard of it back when I used Gab and left it a good review.
I don't like this. Recommending games impacts the impartiality of the DIE detected quality. This is a bad movie, but im guessing simpletons will jump at the recommendation thinking that it's some kind of win...
