Texas Gov. Abbott issues full pardon for Army sergeant who killed BLM protester
Texas Gov. Abbott has issued a full pardon for a former U.S. Army Sergeant convicted of murder in the shooting death of an armed protester in a 2020 Black Lives Matter march.
Fun fact #2: it took this long because the TX governor had to ask for a recommendation from the parole board, which he did right after the verdict in April of 2023 and it took them until now.
Took their sweet time.
