Personally I think it should be posted in the side bar below the rules, as that's how it's generally been done, and is a good way to go about things. But it can still be accessed via link.
Here's the Scored version, which has a bunch more context and functionality, but you can't see what a removed post title or image was. Here's the .win version, which is generally less functional but is a useful fallback to take you to the .win links to see what it was about.
Cheers.
Did he really just accuse you of wanting to kill him and his family? Is there any sort of context leading up to this? Why would he assume that?
He did indeed. Edit: I haven't deleted any comments that he might be pissed about, so you can check my history if you want. The only context I can think of is that I don't support our "greatest ally", and I regularly sign off my posts with:
Go fuck yourself Dom
Damn. I've noticed there was a pattern with the types of posts Dom removed, but this might be my first time seeing him go on a paranoid rant like this. It's like he's just openly admitting that he takes these comments personally and that this isn't really about enforcing site rules.
Yeah, it's a really bad sign, seeing him spin out like that. Here's the comment in question.
Here he claims this comic is "pushing race war" and...
Everyone was talking about the speech issue, not race wars or Jews. But mindreading is apparently a very important element of moderating, and I guess he knows better than everyone who was actually talking about it.
He also banned people for...
For comparing cops behavior with BLM rioters and Palestine campus protestors.
He also removed a comment for...
It's a worrying trend. Mindreading is one of my least favorite internet traits, and really bad behavior in a mod who seems to be getting increasingly biased.
When you unironically start sounding like gopower...there's a major problem.
Judging by the comments, I'd say he definitely got a bit emotional there. Of course people get in arguments on here all the time, but it is worrying to see that his personal biases appear to be influencing his modding. If he is, in fact, jewish, then that would make sense for him to be biased I suppose, but a moderator should ideally try to be impartial. After all, I thought the whole spirit of Gamergate was supposed to be calling people out for this type of behavior.
He sounds like me because I am right about the rising influence of anti semitism in mainstream politics. It has already taken over this site, which now has more in common with a mud breeding hole or stormfag forum.
Let's be real, there are people here who absolutely are on board with a genocide all the jews agenda.
I don't doubt that. If Dom had simply said "not all jews are like that" or "some people take 'noticing' too far and advocate for racial genocide, which is not ok", then his comment wouldn't have been as controversial.
But instead he accused ModsAreAIDS of wanting to personally murder him, and the only context leading up to that is the user pointed out that people are punished for noticing patterns.
Then he banned btbw simply for posting an extremely mild comic strip. I think you'd be hard pressed to argue that that comic was really deserving of a rule 16 ban.
Anti semites have a knack for being muerderous...doesnt need contect or reason.
